All our Select Four Grain bottlings contain whiskey from barrels that have aged for at least three years in heavily charred, new American oak. Select barrels are chosen to keep aging (instead of becoming flagship Four Grain American Whiskey) because they demonstrate promise for developing deeper, more complex flavors.

This whiskey comes from one of the first heavily-charred, new American oak barrels we filled with distillate from a new distillation approach developed in 2021. It’s a dynamic, complete whiskey showcasing an incredible balance of the wood, grain, and fruit flavors that define our whiskey.
