Released in unique batches, our peated single malt whiskeys exude the flavors of Scotland from the banks of the Manatawny in Pennsylvania.
Twice distilled from 100% malted barley, aged in barrels that previously aged our Four Grain American Whiskey, and often finished in additional barrels, our peated single malts make a great addition to any collection.
BATCH #5, MAR. 2025:
After one of our peated single malt whiskey distillations, we placed some of the whiskey into a second-use American oak barrel and some into an ex-Islay Scotch whiskey barrel. After aging the barrels for four years, we’ve carefully blended them back together for balance and complexity, yielding a warm, well-rounded spirit.
Aromas of chocolate, dried strawberries, and genmaicha tea precede milk chocolate, campfire embers, and sea salt on the palate, with a smoky finish. Best enjoyed neat or over a large rock.
