This whiskey was crafted with Simpsons Peated Malt, aged for 3 years in second-use, heavily charred, American oak barrels. Finished in a 500-liter ex-sherry puncheon for 1 year.

500 bottled in standard 94 proof; 100 bottled at cask strength 114 proof. 

Same distillate, different finish as the spirit that received a 92 rating from Whiskey Advocate in 2022. 

100% malted barley ~ Phenols: 35 ppm (medium-light).

Nose: Peat, rosewater, orange.

Palate: Chocolate, toasted marshmallow, stone fruits.

Finish: Medium, creamy; leather, hint of lemon peel.
